초록
The result obtained through the structure and contents analysis of Choi, Chang-Ho's 『Folk song of the whole land of Korea 2』 published in Pyongyang Publishing Co. in 2003 is as follows. First, the structure of 『Folk song of the whole land of Korea 2』 analyzes the origin and editorial contents of the representative folk songs of each region based on the folk songs of Korea in total five chapters. It also consists of a review of the author and a special section, and an accompanying sheet music section, which introduces 41 Southern and North Korean folk songs. Secondly, there was a difference of opinion with South Korea about the origin of the editorials such as singing, the origin of ‘Changbu Taryeong’, and ‘Pansori’, and ‘Ongheya’. In particular, a further study was needed because of differences of views with South Korea on the definition of concept and the beginning about new folk. Thirdly, the special section introduces a total of 45 figures, fork songs of the western provinces of Korea, ethnic musicians, artists, and ethnic art, too. In this respect, It can be seen that this book is a valuable resource to understand the activities of people who are not introduced to the South. Fourth, 14 ones among 41 songs presented by the music in the appendix "O Sun-bo" are the folk songs to be firstly introduced in the South and can be expected to be used as important material for the study of North Korean folk songs.
