남북 언어 통합 연구에 대한 비판적 검토

초록

This study aims to examine previous research on the linguistic unification of the two Koreas, and to propose measures such as further research, policies and even attitudes that are necessary for the linguistic unification of the two Koreas. This study is in due course since linguistic unification has become necessary due to the growing expectations for unification. The method of linguistic unification has been largely divided into two. One proposes that linguistic unification should be carried out after the unification of the two Koreas, with multiple standard words or common language being used in the unification process, while the other believes that, when considering the cost of unification, a standard set of words should be set whether it be South or North Korean. The language standard has been debated upon in the process of collaboratively compiling the <Gyeoremal Keunsajeon> and has come, in parts, to mutual agreement. Also in the case of academic interactions between the two Koreas, while it began in the field of information processing, many academic conferences have been held due to the increased interactions between government organizations, although we still have yet to see substantial collaborative research between the two Koreas. In the field of educational research, educational materials for North Korean defectors have been actively developed. Education of the North Korean language in South Korea has been mainly discussed as a part of the Korean curriculum, but it might have to be linked to unification education as well. process of collaboratively compiling the <Gyeoremal Keunsajeon> and has come, in parts, to mutual agreement. This study proposes the development of research projects concerning collaborative efforts for linguistic purification and processing linguistic data. Nominated was ‘the committee for the linguistic unification of the two Koreas’ (tentatively designated name) for the supervision of research concerning linguistic unification. Sub divisions would have to be created in order to oversee and execute each collaborative task for it to become a consistently collaborative research project. As we accumulate linguistic information for the communication between the two Koreas, simultaneously, efforts to educate the South Korean public on proper linguistic attitudes based on the mutual understanding of the differences should be carried out in advance.
