초록

This study was to find out the characteristics of the motor abilities of children aged 3-5 years by measuring their motor abilities and performing a cluster analysis on their motor abilities. The subjects of the study were 1,212 children from all over the country, and the children's motor ability measurement tool developed by the Korea Sports Association was used. For data analysis, a hierarchical two-step cluster analysis was performed by inputting the standard scores of six variables. As a result of the analysis, in the analysis of all age groups, the clusters in which all motor ability elements developed evenly appeared the most. However, as a result of analyzing them by age, a contrasting profile was found for each group according to age. In addition, as a result of cluster analysis according to BMI, it was found that the group with a low BMI had excellent exercise capacity. As a result of the study, it can be seen that the majority of infants develop sequentially according to age, and show contrasting profiles according to age. In addition, exercise capacity was different depending on the degree of obesity. In conclusion, it is necessary to present a customized physical activity program according to the characteristics of motor ability in order to achieve balanced motor skill development in children.
