정보라의 단편소설에 나타난 포스트휴먼 인공지능의 관계 맺기: ｢안녕, 내 사랑｣(2015), ｢One More Kiss, Dear｣(2016), ｢너의 유토피아｣(2021)를 중심으로

초록

This paper examines Jung Bo-ra's “Bye, My Love,” “One More Kiss, Dear,”and “Your Utopia” from the perspective of Artificial Intelligence's relationshipwith machines and humans. These three short stories place the machine-objects,who have been instrumentalised and monsterised by human-subjects, by developing narratives from the perspective of AI robots or directly callingout their voices. However, at this time, humans, relatively assumed to beothers(objects), are not excluded by AIs. Humans who unilaterally cut offthe cooperative relationship between them and machines become isolated dueto their superiority complex. Simondon argued that what makes up all Individuals is relationships. Machines that evolve in interaction with humans each have their own uniqueways of existence and roles. And Haraway embodied the concept of Cyborgin a similar tone. As a entanglement of humans and machines, Cyborgs cannotexist in a completely independent manner, so they maintain Troubles betweeneach other and continue to respond with responsibility. The above short stories capture the voluntary self-objectificaiton of humansand show the responses of AI robots to it. AIs clearly prove that they arealso subjects, by killing person who deny their role and way of existenceand mourning person who interacted with them. Their technological evolutionthrough interaction makes humans aware of the destruction of the boundarybetween the domain of human and that of machine. Accordingly, they whohave become Cyborgs along with machines can break away from the dichotomyof identity and become Posthumans who establish a fluid relationship betweensubject and object.
