예술가의 가치와 만족: 공연예술 종사자의 사회·경제적 특성과 예술활동 만족도 간의 관계 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the stisfaction of Korean performing artists. More specifically, we estimate the effect of sociodemographic and economic factors on the activities satisfaction of artists using 2015 Survey Report on Artists and Activities data. The results show that longer work hours and appropriate income levels have a positive impact on the activities satisfaction of artistic workers. In addition, we found that higher activities satisfaction can be attributed quality of life and grant benefits. Considering the heterogeneity in performing arts sectors, it was separated into music, pop music, traditional music, dance and theater, performing arts categories. The results suggest that artists longer career artists are more satisfied and that the activities satisfaction of art depends on the type and size of grants.
