설문조건에 따른 지불의사 차이분석: 신재생 에너지를 중심으로

초록

In most research, willingness to pay(WTP) for renewable energy sources has been estimated mainly using the contingent valuation method (CVM). Despite the importance of reliability and validity of the measurement instrument, measurement errors in the questionnaire design still remain outside the interest of researchers. If WTPs with measurement errors are reflected in policy decisions, policy acceptance by the public would be severely limited. This study investigated the effects of questionnaire design on the estimation of WTP. For this, WTPs were measured using either a graph type questionnaire or narrative type (story-type) questionnaire for two different groups of participants. The result indicated that the design of the WTP questionnaire would significantly affect the estimation of WTP.
