[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between the major choice motivation of golf majors on learning outcomes. [Method] To achieve this goal, a total of 281 survey data were used for the analysis using the convenience sampling method, while the number of students majoring in golf at a sports college in Gyeong-gi Province was set up as a population. [Result] The results obtained showed that the sub-factors (internal and external) of the major choice motive all have an effect on the sub-factors of learning outcomes (relationship, external activities, intellectual areas, and defining areas). [Conclusion] Although the motivation for learning by voluntary learning and by external stimuli is different, there is a common thread in the learning outcomes section.
