초록

In this paper, we investigate the relationship between governance and fiscal performance such as government fiscal deficit and debt to GDP ratio. Since the path of the effect of governance on fiscal performance is known to be related with budget process, it is essential to know how the differences of governance account for the difference of fiscal performance. Using world governance indicator (WGI) by world bank, we found that a good governance had a positive effect on the fiscal performance for OECD countries.
