프로골퍼의 완벽주의 성향과 정신건강, 수행의 관계

초록
[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship perfectionism tendency, mental health, and golf performance. [Method] This study collected 480 questionnaires from professional golfers participating in the competitions of Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) and Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) and 462 of them were used after excluding 18 unfinished questionnaires. Then, this study verified the collected material by using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0 Statistics Program for descriptive statistics, reliability verification, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. [Result] In the relationship between perfectionism tendency and mental health, golfers with higher perfectionism tendency experienced more anxiety in mental health, physical symptoms, and depression. Second, in the relationship between perfectionism tendency and golf performance, golfers with higher other-directed perfectionism tendency showed decrease in average number of birdie and increase in average number of stoke in golf performance. Third, Third, in the relationship between mental health and golf performance, golfers experiencing anxiety in mental health, physical symptom, and depression showed lower golf performance. [Conclusion] Perfectionism tendency has a negative influence on the golfer’s mental health and negative mental health condition caused lower golf performance.
