해외 사례를 통해 본 한국 교정시설 문화예술교육의 현황 및 과제

초록

This study examined the cases of arts education in overseas correctional facilities and compared them to the current status of art education in Korean correctional facilities. To this end, case studies were conducted on overseas correctional facility arts education programs, such as San Francisco AIC in the US, VET in Australia, and PET in the UK, to examine the current status of art programs in correctional facilities in Korea, The results of the study are as follows. Art education in correctional facilities in Korea was currently being well conducted compared to overseas. In the case of overseas, after conducting arts education, a survey on its effectiveness was actively conducted, while few were conducted in Korea. It is necessary to cultivate cultural and artistic education experts for culture and arts education in correctional facilities suitable for the situation in Korea.
