교육시설 공용공간의 유형별 공간구조적 특성에 관한 연구
초록
(Background and Purpose) Education facilities face changes in the times that require self-learning rather than rote learning, participation and communication rather than simple problem solving, and a convergent approach without boundaries. Our society is also implementing various educational facility improvement projects in line with these demands. Based on this background, this study establishes basic data suitable for the needs of various school facilities by collecting and analyzing school cases that accommodate advanced education as basic research for future generations. Furthermore, the study investigates the characteristics of each type of school space via an analysis that implies quantitative results by focusing on the characteristics of the spatial structure by case. (Method) This study comprehensively collected various cases of domestic and foreign educational facilities, and selected subjects that could be drawn among them. Furthermore, in the process of case collection, the possibility of categorizing educational facilities was simultaneously sought, focusing on the form of a public space in the low-rise part that guarantees the possibility of various activities of students. A total of four types of public spaces were categorized, and a spatial structural characteristics analysis was performed in detail, based on this. (Results) First, educational facilities have various types of public spaces that mediate each dedicated space, and as a result of collecting and categorizing cases, they could be largely divided into four types. A single gallery type consisting of a single corridor, a circular gallery type consisting of one circulation line, a tree gallery type unfolding in a branch type, and an autonomous gallery type showing free composition, can be said to be the result of four categorizations based on the form of public space of educational facilities. Second, to analyze the spatial structural characteristics of each type of internal space, each type was found to have different structural characteristics, as a result of analyzing the market graph and visual integration through VGA. The distribution of topological maps was in the descending order of tree, autonomous, single, and circuit gallery types, which provides a reference when specifying the composition and morphology of public spaces, in terms of easy understanding and autonomy of space. (Conclusions) This study was meaningful in that it formed basic data on the construction of future generations of educational facilities by collecting cases, classifying types, and deriving quantitative analysis results that can be compared to domestic and foreign cases.
