경기북부 저발전 현황과 과제: 시,도별 비교를 중심으로

초록

This study examines the underdevelopment situation of North Kyonggi Province by the regulation policies of Korean central government, and tries to explore the development strategies for the province. For the purpose of this study, dimensions of regional disparities in Korea are classifies into 6 components; accessibility, economic development, reproduction ability, environmental situation, public safety and healthiness. To measure the six components, 32 indicators are used for 17 provinces of Korea(Actually, Korea has 16 provinces. However, this study Kyonggi Province into two province, the North and the South). This research finds that almost all the indicators of North Kyonggi Province are the lowest level among Korean provinces, on the other hand, those of South Kyounggi province is the second or third levels. This paper discusses the causes and effects of the regional disparities and policy implementation for the development of North Kyonggi Province.
