저출생 시대, 체육과 스포츠는 무엇을 이야기하고 있나: 뉴스 기사와 학술논문의 토픽 분석과 비교

초록

This study conducted topic modeling analysis on news articles and academic literature to examine discussions surrounding the social issue of low birth rates, in the fields of physical education and sports, and to identify areas of insufficient discourse and directions for future research. The analysis revealed that news articles focused on the direct impacts and strategies related to low birth rates, addressing issues such as the reduction of school sports teams, the decline in youth athletes, and the weakening of local sports infrastructure. In contrast, academic literatures were primarily centered on aging-related research, with adaptive responses such as promoting elderly health and supporting leisure activities as the main points of discussion. Based on these findings, this study highlights the need for empirical research on the impacts of low birth rates on sports, and proposes future research directions including integrated approaches to demographic changes and the redefinition of the value of sports.
