공적자금 상환 특별기여금 수납 예상액 추정과 정책적 대응방안 연구

초록

This study aims to forecast special assessment in public funds redemption plan. Based upon the regression analysis of OECD countries' Financial balance sheets data, we estimate the growth rate of average deposit balance of the insured financial institutions eligible for public funds. This study shows that the forecast of special assessment will not reach the planned estimate, 20 trillion won with redemption period of 25 years from 2003 even if we assumed optimistic economic conditions. Many different policy scenarios also show the similar results. Thus, this cast us fundamental rethinking of ‘public fund redemption plan’ which was establishe in the end of 2002.
