초록

[Purpose] The purpose of this study is to classify and categorize game records and statistical data provided by the KPGA and major world tour websites, and to present terms and meanings for each game record. [Method] The survey covered match records from the official websites of three KPGA tours, three PGA tours, the DP World Tour, the Japan Tour (JGTO), the Asian Tour, and four major tournaments. After collecting the raw data, we organized it by establishing a categorization and classification system. [Result] The results showed that the PGA Tour and tournaments provided the most information in terms of game records and statistics, followed by the DP World Tour, Japan JGTO, US Open, and Asian Tour. Additionally, the PGA-sanctioned tours and tournaments, along with the US Open and The Open, were found to effectively illustrate each player's performance in stroke categories by applying the concept of Stroke Gained (SG). [Conclusion] In order to analyze game records and statistical data from different competitions and tours, it is necessary to consider the application criteria and data calculation methods for the analysis data, and then select the data to be collected and analyzed.
