중학교 체육교과서 여가활동영역 내용 및 적용실태 분석

초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the direction for developing objectives and contents of leisure activity section in physical education subject and provide the basic data of systematic education curriculum and teaching-learning methods suitable for leisure education based on the analysis result. In this study, we conducted an analysis on leisure activity sections of twelve textbooks and a survey with physical education teachers in middle school to identify the actual condition of applying leisure activity in actual education field of middle school. The result of this study is as follows. First, it indicated that there are society and leisure, nature and leisure and global leisure depending on education curriculum in all twelve textbooks. The name of chapters in each leisure activity section is different from each publishing company. However, it implies that each leisure activity is made in three systems of understanding, practice and appreciation. It also indicated that the average pages of leisure activity are 70 pages and average percentage is 14.8 percent meaning that it is not less than 20 percent in all textbooks and showed that the number of leisure activities presented in each textbook is 6 activities to 18 activities. Second, it indicated that the most necessary things for successful leisure activity class are presentation of practicable activities, expansion of facilities, connection between experimental activities and field learning and budget securing and support in sequence. In conclusion, it implies that it is necessary to prepare the enough environment for teachers to educate students by securing the infrastructure, developing diverse programs and providing budget and systems gradually.
