대학 내 융합전공 개설을 통한 문화다양성 교육 사례 연구
초록
This article examines the outline and the educational roadmap of the Cultural Diversity Convergence Major established and managed in Chung-Ang University. As the outcome of the examination, the author discussed ways to cultivate talents with the capacity to create culture that naturally embraces the world's cultures and creatively utilizes them to lead the change of the times. The examination presented in the article executed with the author's belief that now is the time to nurture creative convergence-type talents with major knowledge and open intelligence and sensibility required in the age of cultural diversity, absorbing and applying various cultures, coping with situations and excellent adaptability. Cultivating talents with cultural diversity awareness capabilities, cultural sensitivity, communication capabilities, and creativity and convergence capabilities is to solve various social problems that occur in the local community and ultimately seek a way for social integration. Therefore, it is necessary to nurture cultural diversity experts with creative convergence ability through systematic education. In order to meet the need, it is necessary to develop interactive educational contents that help develop creative and convergence capabilities and educational efforts to solve problems occurring in the age of cultural diversity. The production of talents with cultural receptivity and creative convergence thinking can bring about the effect of spreading the cultural diversity education system in the local community. In addition, it is spontaneous outcome that cultural diversity education contents to strengthen citizens' cultural competency are also spread to the local community. As a result, customized education program development can be continuously developed in collaboration with local educational and cultural institutions. This will help to continue as a virtuous cycle structure that spreads the value of cultural diversity in our society.
