한국 발달장애인 성년후견인의 경험에 관한 연구 - 공공후견활동을 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study is to establish new knowledge and a theoretical foundation that can explain the guardianship by analyzing the experience process of public guardianship of guardians for adults with developmental disabilities. Research questions are “What is the guardianship experience of public guardians for adults with developmental disabilities?” and “What is the guardianship process of public guardians for adults with developmental disabilities?” For the purpose, we have implemented a qualitative research on inductive knowledge for a new field applying a grounded theory for the development of a substantive theory using a process-oriented approach. As a results of analysis, open coding, 156 concepts , 45 subcategories, and 15 categories were derived. As the central phenomenon, ‘Confusion between boundary and non-boundary of law and compassion’ and variable context was derived. On that basis, we explored ways to apply the result of this research to the sites of public guardianship by providing process theoretical and practical implications on the guardianship.
