形容詞的な名詞と名詞志向性に関する考察 - ｢良さ｣と｢悪さ｣を事例に -

Previous studies have dealt comprehensively with cases related to so-called noun-oriented structures, but have not made in-depth analysis of individual cases. Based on this awareness of the problem, this paper analyzed ‘良さ’ and ‘悪さ’ which are examples of ‘-さ’ derivative nouns. As a result of the analysis, among the predicates that co-occur with ‘良さが’, those expressing characteristics and evaluation and those expressing perception and understanding accounted for about 90% of the total. Among the predicates that co-occur with ‘良さを’, those expressing perception and understanding, those expressing presenting and delivering characteristics, those expressing evaluation, and those expressing utilization accounted for about 80% of the total. And approximately half of the modifiers of predicates containing ‘良さ’ were those expressing ability and sense, those expressing style and character and those expressing feelings. On the other hand, among the predicates that co-occur with ‘悪さが’, those expressing characteristics and evaluation, those expressing causes, and those expressing perception and understanding accounted for about 70% of the total. Among the predicated that co-occur with ‘悪さを’, those expressing performance of action, those expressing perception and understanding, those expressing improvement and coping, and those expressing presenting and delivering of characteristics accounted for about 90% of the total. And among the modifiers of predicates containing ‘悪さ’, those expressing ability and sense(38.46%) had the highest frequency.
