SANAA 주거건축의 공유공간 구축에 관한 연구-SANAA 주거건축의 공유공간 구축에 관한 연구-

초록

Dwelling lifestyles are rapidly changing to one-person households in the contemporary society. SANAA(Sejima and Nishizawa and Associates) is the association for architectural design and managements that includes Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa as representative architects. Sejima and Nishizawa are one of the greatest master architect of our generation and they were also Pritzker prize-winning architects in 2010 for their dedication to contemporary architecture through their design progress. Similar to their extreme experiments in the public buildings, they retain experimental attitude against their housing projects. Furthermore, through their investigation for the relationship between each spaces of their houses, they successfully claim their values which totally rearrange the ordinary spatial relationship surrounding common space of multi-family houses. This study aims to figure out the practical design methods through typological consideration for SANAA housing projects and quantitative analysis of user behavior in the common space so as to apply their design method into domestic housing projects. To examine the common space of SANAA, this study applies ethological analysing method invented by J. Diamond. The result shows that user behaviors in the common spaces are dramatically changing between each type of SANAA's housing projects.
