초록

Through a systematic review of existing literature, this study intends to contribute to creation of new knowledge by investigating modern sci- entific analysis and application on Hyegang Choi Han-Ki’s human-evalu- ation theory of human assessment idea, who was a philosopher in the late Joseon period. Human-evaluation theory studied by Choi Han-Ki is a quantitative model to propose scientific measurement methods of hu- man evaluation by quantifying humans’ behaviors and minds. While Western interpersonal perception theory which is being applied in the area of modern science is a notion to infer human inner characteristics and psychological processes including characters, emotions, intentions, desires, abilities etc. from humans’ physical appearance, be- haviors and the like, human-evaluation is characteristic of its design so that humans can be evaluated through a variety of observation varia- bles including what is deeply rooted in the human heart, purity and nastiness of temperament, and even environments without being limited to perception measurement by the primacy effect like Western inter- personal perception theory. From this perspective, the first link which connects the most advanced science with human-evaluation theory as the researcher pays attention to is analysis on Korean smart phone ad- diction mechanism and scale development research. Accordingly, it can be said that research related to smart-phone ad- diction mechanism is a very suitable area for testing human-evaluation theoretically and seeking modern scientific application in that it is an area to comprehensively examine human psychological, cognitive, be- havioral characteristics like research on game addiction
