교양교육으로서 독서 및 토론 수업 방안 -중앙대학교 강의 사례를 중심으로-

초록

The purpose of this study was to establish the aim and activity of teaching/learning of reading and debate as a liberal education at university and then present a lecture plan that could induce student’s active participation. The liberal arts of which main students are freshmen are not the subjects of a voluntary choice but a compulsory choice for the most part. In order to achieve the goal of education, therefore, it is necessary for students to take part in it actively and for professors to work out a detailed plan of education that can provide students learning motives. In this regard, this study paid attention not only to ‘during lectures’ but also to ‘before lectures’ and ‘after lectures’ in which preceding studies did not take much interest, and then proposed a lecture plan onto which the goal and activity of teaching/learning was reflected. This lecture plan consisted of such three steps as ‘① before lectures → ② during lectures → ③ after lectures.’
