도하라운드 통신서비스협상의 전망과 과제

초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the prospect and policy agenda of the DDA telecom negotiations by analyzing Korea`s present market-opening and major issues of the on-going negotiations. Korea currently keeps only partial limitations on foreign ownership and cross-border supply as a result of consistently promoting the progressive liberalization through UR and Basic Telecom negotiations. DDA negotiations are primarily targeted on the comprehensive and complete removal of the remaining market access restrictions in telecom services sector. At the same time, we should also keep a policy-wise alertness to every possibility on the in-depth dealing with other regulatory issues such as classification of services and elaboration of regulatory principles.
