초록

This article was designed to explore the concept of sport industry and value to expand the market of sport by the suggestion of a policy decision model. The purpose of this study was to understand and explain sport industry. In order to reach the purpose, various data and information were analyzed to build development strategies. This study was consist of two sub-topics. First, it was comprehensive understanding of sport industry. Second, another was about the analysis on the methods for making reasonable policies in the sport industry field. literature reviews were conducted and the results were as follow. First, sport industry was explained through National Sports Promotion Law on its nature. In other words, sport industry was to meet citizen’s fundamental rights. The value of sport industry was placed on public physical and psychological health, happy life and raise of national profile. Second, The Sport industry policy decision model can be explained in ‘government central policy decision making path’ and ‘public influenced policy decision making path’.
