한국 환경사회학의 지적 구조 — ECO 논문 제목의 동시출현단어분석을 중심으로

초록

One of the best ways to understand the characteristics of an academic field is to investigate the knowledge structure of the academic field and the aspect of its change. This paper aims to analyze and visualize the knowledge structure of environmental sociology in Korea. In this paper, it is shown that the words environment, society, ecology, and Korea are the most frequently occurring ones in the titles of articles published from the first issue of ≪ECO≫ till its 15(2) issue of June, 2015. The results of analysis show that environmental sociology in Korea has been interested in the interaction between environment and sociology, focusing on the context of Korea, and is characterized as a ‘sociology of environmental problem’. It is also shown that the research interest has recently extended to the issues of energy and climate.
