휴대 전화기의 벨소리 효과를 활용한 연주 장치 개발 - Mobile Orchestra 전시 작품을 중심으로

초록

This study introduces Mobile Orchestra, a music playing media art made with mobile phones after 1984. We analyze and divide ringtone from the mobilephone to extract the musical element. Musical element is recreated to national anthem player for 45 participants of Incheon Asian game. Especially, we suggest the sound extraction and communication method between computer and mobilephone. Also harmonize the old and new mobilephone to make a light and sound installation for live performance. Finally, we want to observe the response of various audiences from 45 countries. The audience can predict the future through the past and the present encounter. Furthermore, was a chance to prove the unity of Asians through the same reaction.
