가족탄력성이 성인 발달 장애인 형제자매의 관여에 미치는 영향

초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of family resilience on involvement of siblings of adults with developmental disabilities. For this, a survey data was collected from 85 adult siblings with adults with developmental disabilities around 17 social welfare facilities. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between the two variables. The results showed that the overall level of family resilience is relatively high. Among the sub-factors in family resilience, family resource showed a higher level. But social support is the lowest among the sub-factors. Second, adult siblings' socio-demographic characteristics and family structures were not significant predictors in siblings' involvement. But cognitive demands of the adults with developmental disabilities and type of disability were identified as significant factors in siblings' involvement. Finally, among family resilience factors, family resource had important influence on the involvement of adult siblings. Based on these results, several policy implications were suggested.
