공감적 행위 원칙으로서의 충서(忠恕)와 유가적 소통 윤리

초록

The diagnosis that Confucianism is the cause of various social problems in modern Korean society is not new. For example, the virtues emphasized by Confucian ideology, such as loyalty(忠) and filial piety(孝), have contributed to incorporating individuals into a one-way order rather than treating those who relate under such virtues as equals. However, I oppose the attempt to attribute all the responsibility of real politics to Confucian ideology itself. Rather, I believe that by confronting the true nature of Confucianism, it will be possible to dispel misunderstandings surrounding it and secure the wisdom to respond flexibly to the problems of distrust and lack of communication that modern society faces. This paper aims to examine the basis of political communication derived from Confucianism through the Zhongshu(忠恕) of the Analects and the sympathetic sensitivity of the Mencius, and to clarify that it can provide a fundamental understanding for resolving conflicts.
