부정기화주의 운송계약방식에 따른 선사 선정기준의 인식차이에 관한 연구

초록

Purpose : The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether carrierselection criteria apply differently according to contract forms of bulk shippingand whether the perceived service level meets the shippers’ expectation. Research design, data, methodology : This paper conducted a questionnairesurvey on bulk cargo shippers and analysed the data using ANOVA andIPA. Results : According to the form of freight transportation contract, theperceived gap has been occurred between the factors for shipping companyselection of irregular shipper and service satisfaction of shipping company. Conclusions : This paper provides bulk shipping companies with the detailedinformation about the shippers’ perception on their preference in selectingshipping companies and the discrepancy between their expectation and theperceived service level. It is suggested that the shipping companies concentratetheir efforts to improve competitiveness on the certain aspects which aremainly recognized as important by shippers according to contract types.
