삶에 대한 가치관과 태도에 대한 세대차이 연구 - MZ 세대와 기성 세대의 비교 -

초록

This study attempted to examine differences in individualism-collectivism, life goals, perceptions of marriage and childbirth, and attitudes toward consumption and work between the MZ generation and the older generation. using related measures, 148 of the MZ generation (male: 52; female: 96; Mean of age: 27.6 years) and 103 of the older generation (male: 41; female: 62; Mean of age = 53.8 years) were surveyed. Results indicated that overall generational differences in individualism-collectivism, life goals, perceptions of childbirth, and attitudes toward consumption were not found with exceptions in a few sub-factors. MZ generation appeared to be more romantic, exclusive, instrumental and passive in marriage and had a lower commitment to work, satisfaction, and perceived fairness than the older generation. These findings were compared with existing research findings and discussed in terms of cultural change and generation.
