일반 네일 보강제와 기능성 네일 보강제의 조갑박렬증에 대한 연구

초록

Recently, businesses related to nail care and art have prospered as development of cosmetics and beauty industry as well as consumers'interests in fashion. Therefore, this study focused on the nail reinforced products in order to evaluate their effects on onychoschizia occurred by decreasing nail hydration and using nail remover and in order to understand the applicant's satisfaction of the products. Two nail reinforced products with different contents was selected: one is a general nail reinforced product (GNR) for protection of nails and another is a functional nail reinforced product (FNR) including more polymers and natural materials for treatment of nail stratified and splitting symptom. The treatment with FNR and GNR on 2~3 predetermined nails of 9 applicants with nail stratified and splitting symptom was performed by overlaying every 2 weeks and their effects were evaluated using FE-SEM figures of nails by comparing with untreated nails as control for 6 weeks. The results of this research demonstrated that the FNR was more effective than the GNR and controls in making the surface of the damaged nails much smoother and healthier during the experiment period. In addition, the survey of the applicants on their effects and satisfaction demonstrated high level of satisfaction for FNR, consistent with the experiment results. In conclusion, FNR will be a good candidate to treat the nail stratified split symptom in a short period of time and the proper usage of FNR should be helpful for nail businesses to provide a big satisfaction to their customers.
