<Eulji Project>, the main work of this thesis, is a series of photographs focused on the changing urban space. The traces of time found in the city and the landscape created by mixing them were interpreted as artistic elements. It is composed of three series total, according to the interests of each detailed series and the method of expressing them. In this paper, focusing on the <Eulji Project>, the author looked at the process of materializing the formative elements and artistic meanings found in the urban landscape and expressing them through photography. This thesis examines and analyzes the background, main concepts, and production process of these series in detail, and studies the artistic significance of the works. It is an exploration of the author's perspective on the cycle of city space’s change, and an exploration of the disorder and unstable form revealed in the process of transitioning the existing urban space to a new urban space. As a complex attempt based on the author's exploration, expression, intervention, and interpretation, this thesis has artistic significance. This thesis was a process of reflecting the artist's perspective on a space where very complex elements of the city co-exist, and trying to present a new perspective through artistic practice.
