초록

This research aims to set vocabulary selection criteria for the development of vocabulary lists for Korean alphabet(hangul) education for preschoolers, to verify the suitability of lists developed according to these criteria compared with existing vocabulary lists. There have been a variety of relevant studies on Korean alphabet (hangul) education, but these studies have lacked basic vocabulary lists, alphabet (hangul) education for preschoolers. Numerous studies have tried to develop vocabulary lists for first and second language Korean education, yet the usefulness of the products. This paper sets the following criteria for vocabulary selection:familiarity, learnability, complexity, and unchangeability of vocabulary. These are based on previous studies on language recognition development and Korean language education in early childhood. Finally, basic vocabulary for preschoolers is re-categorized according to these criteria.
