현대 러시아 SF영화와 글로컬리티 - 클림 쉬펜코의 『살류트-7』을 중심으로 -

초록

This paper is designed to find out the characteristics shown in the movie Salyut-7 directed by Klim Shipenko from the perspective of glocality. Movies based on space, which visualize vast spaces and present strong spectacle images, rely inevitably on state-of-the-art special effects. Therefore, SF space movies had been developed by Hollywood which has huge capital power enough to fund the space movies. However, in the 2010s, Russia also tried to put efforts in producing space movies and among them, Salyut-7 is evaluated to be a realistic space movie which embodies Russian characteristics well in the international stage. So, this paper tries to find out how global factors and local factors mutually communicatein the movie Salyut-7. The discussion took place in two ways. First, we looked at how the Hollywood-style technologies have been applied to this movie, which played a critical role in making this movie become a global content. Second, by looking at the critical events making this movie, Russian motives, and the personalities of Russian space heroes we discussed how the movie Salyut-7 has dismantled the Hollywood style frame. Such study is likely to contribute to expanding the horizon of Russian culture these days, where there is a shortage of direct interpretation and researches on the correlation between ‘Russian cultural contents and glocality’.
