음악 중재법을 적용한 교양음악 교과개발 연구: 국악효과 분석을 중심으로
초록
Purpose This study explores the feasibility of integrating music interventions into liberal arts music curricula to enhance emotional and psychological well-being. With the growing emphasis on interdisciplinary education, traditional music courses have declined, reducing opportunities for students to engage with their cultural heritage. To address this gap, the study examines the effects of Korean traditional music (KTM) on emotional expression and pain perception, particularly among students with varying levels of emotional regulation difficulties. Methods Participants completed a survey assessing their emotional and psychological states before undergoing a Cold Pressor Task (CPT) to measure pain responses. They were stratified into subgroups based on their scores on the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale (DERS). The study analyzed the impact of KTM exposure on emotional expression, pain perception, and stress levels across different emotional regulation profiles. Results KTM listening significantly reduced pain responses and stress levels in participants with emotional regulation difficulties. In the control group, KTM also alleviated anxiety related to pain stimuli, demonstrating broader psychological benefits. Conclusion Findings support the integration of music interventions into liberal arts curricula, highlighting KTM’s potential to enhance emotional resilience and stress management. This study provides a foundation for evidence-based interdisciplinary music education.
