매력-유사성 가설에 근거한 체육교사 매력 지각이 체육 내적 동기 및 수업만족에 미치는 영향

초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate how the attractiveness of physical education teachers perceived by students, based on the attractiveness-similarity hypothesis, affects the internal motivation and satisfaction of physical education classes. Method: To achieve the purpose of the study, data were collected by conducting an online questionnaire survey of 246 students enrolled in middle schools in S city using the Physical Education Teacher Attractiveness Scale, Internal Motivation Scale, and Physical Education Class Satisfaction Scale. After collecting the data, various statistical analyzes were performed. Results: As a result of the analysis, first, there were statistically significant differences in physical education teachers' attractiveness, physical education internal motivation, and physical education satisfaction according to the gender of middle school students participating in physical education classes. Second, there was no statistically significant difference in physical education teacher's attractiveness, physical education internal motivation, and physical education class satisfaction according to the number of class participation of students participating in physical education class. Third, it was found that the attractiveness of physical education teachers perceived by students participating in physical education classes positively or negatively affects the inner motivation of physical education. Fourth, it was found that the attractiveness of physical education teachers perceived by students participating in physical education classes had a positive effect on satisfaction with physical education classes. Lastly, it was found that the inner motivations of the students participating in the physical education class had a positive or negative effect on the satisfaction of the education class. Conclusion: The attraction of a perceived teacher to participate in physical education class indicates positive or influence on physical education internal motivation and physical education satisfaction, or positive or physical education satisfaction.
