다문화 가정 청소년이 지각한 어머니의 긍정적인 양육태도와 사회적 지지가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 위축의 매개효과를 중심으로

초록

This study was to examine the structural relationships among perceived positive maternal parenting, social support, social withdrawal, and life satisfaction among multicultural adolescents. In this study, panel data from the 6th year (2016) of the Multicultural Family Adolescent Panel Survey conducted by the Korean Youth Policy Institute were utilized. The final sample consisted of 1,135 3rd-grade middle school students whose mothers were from China, Japan, or the Philippines. The results showed significant correlations among perceived positive maternal parenting, social support, social withdrawal, and life satisfaction for multicultural adolescents. Students raised by Filipino mothers perceived higher life satisfaction than those raised by Japanese mothers. Positive maternal parenting and social support were found to have a direct positive impact on life satisfaction, and indirectly affected life satisfaction through social withdrawal. The findings of this study can serve as a valuable resource for developing education programs that specifically target multicultural mothers, with the aim of enhancing the life satisfaction of multicultural adolescents
