행정학 및 정책학 연구에서 확증적 요인분석의 경향과 쟁점: 탐색적 요인분석과의 비교를 중심으로

초록

In assessing construct validity and reliability of a research model, recently, confirmatory factor analysis(CFA) becomes the most important technique. This study evaluated the use of CFA in public administration and policy research. It compared the use of CFA in 126 papers published in major journals in public administration. The results indicated that CFA has been frequently used in an erroneous manner in confusion with exploratory factor analysis. Based on the results, this study offered important suggestions for the proper use of CFA in public administration research.
