한국무용전공 대학생의 교우관계 네트워크 특성: 사회 연결망 분석

초록

The aim of this study is to analyze characteristics of peer relationships in university students majoring in dance in Korea. For achieving this purpose, a survey with 22 students majoring in Korean dance at A University in Seoul was conducted. For data analysis, centrality analysis, community analysis, component analysis and betweenness centrality analysis were carried out using the social network analysis method to understand structural characteristics of peer relationship network. The result showed that the peer relationship network among the university students majoring in Korean dance were classified into three groups, regardless of the same major. Especially, one group had no connectivity with other two groups and the connectivity between the remaining two groups was very low. The university students majoring in dance really lacked communication with each other and each group had a high cohesion. This demonstrates that the university students majoring in dance are in competition with each other. Therefore, instructor's effort for improving peer relationships is required.
