초록

The financial regulatory policies have a great influence on the perception of the employees of financial institutions. This study investigated the factors influencing the acceptance of financial regulation. For this, a structural equation model(SEM) was proposed to examine the influences of financial regulators’ independence, reliability, transparency, fairness, and expertise on trust and acceptance. The data was obtained through a survey of employees of 10 financial institutions. The results indicated that the proposed model fit the data very well. Independence, reliability, transparency, fairness, and expertise of financial regulators had positive effects on the trust towards financial regulators. Further, trust had a positive effect on the financial institutions' acceptance of regulations. The policy implications of the results were also discussed.
