역사와 신화적 상상력: 푸시킨의 발라드 ｢현자 올레크에 대한 노래｣에서의 동슬라브신화 재현 양상

초록

It was in the nineteenth century that the East Slavic mythology began to emerge as a dominant of Russian art and culture. In the early nineteenth century of Russia, represented by the autocracy and the serfdom, the democratic thoughts expanded and the interest in Russian tradition and origins increased, thus, East Slavic mythology has emerged as an essential means of rediscovering the cultural foundation of Russia and accurately reflecting the lives of the people. The perception of the importance of mythology in this period is directly related to the flow of romanticism in the early 19th century, which was concerned with folklore and history. The Song of the Wise Oleg, written in Pushkin’s second period, is a representative example reflecting the poet's romantic attitude to ancient history, culture, historical figures and myths. The motifs and themes related to history and myth are very widely reflected in Pushkin’s works of this period. The main device for operating the mechanism of imagination in the poem The Song of the Wise Oleg was the East Slavic mythology. This paper analyzes the representation of East Slavic mythology in the poem The Song of the Wise Oleg centered on mythological motifs such as destiny and death.
