젠더협곡을 넘어 젠더정의로- 가부장적 복지체제의 균열과 변혁적 대안 -

초록

The purpose of this research is to investigate the gender inequality phenomenon of the patriarchal welfare system through the process of academic review on the historical trajectory of the welfare state and to propose the introduction of the Basic Income as a transformational alternative. To this end, we confirmed gender disparity in welfare state based on the observation of major social indicators. In order to establish the basic assumptions of the patriarchal welfare system, the developmental process of the welfare state was critically discussed from a gender perspective, and the principal strategies of the feminist movement on gender justice were comprehensively reviewed. We proposed Basic Income as a strategy not only to ensure social rights and participatory parity but also to expand economic independence and individual autonomy. As a result of the empirical analysis of the gender equality level, the Basic Income contributes to strengthening the bargaining power of women in the household and expanding their status.
