大衆歌謠에 나타난 性別 對象語의 變化에 대한 硏究 -1960년대, 2000년대 前半期 가요를 中心으로-

A Study of Changes of Gender Objective Words in the 1960s' and the early 2000s' Popular Music

초록

This paper aims at study the difference between genderlects in the 1960s' and the early 2000s' popular music, and the changes they went through, according to reference terms and descriptive expression. In the 1960s' popular music, genderlects are quite distinct according to gender, showing sexual inequality in social status, and the passivity and dependence of women in the relationship between men and women. On the other hand, popular music in the early 2000s' refer to men as 'neo(you)' in the same manner as to women, revealing change to gender equality. Also, the boundaries between male and female gender roles are becoming blurred as men do cooking and shopping like women do. Furthermore, descriptive expression about women's work and behavior, display changes in women, leading man-and-woman relationships and having more active attitudes in their own lives. The significance of this thesis lies in that it approached to the practical aspect of genderlects by analyzing words in popular music.
