공공갈등에 대한 대안적 분쟁해결(ADR) 프로세스의 장기화 요인 분석

초록

In comparison with rapidly increasing attention to alternative dispute resolution(ADR) as an effective mechanism for public conflict resolution, little research has been empirically conducted to examine the effects of ADR. This study investigated the factors that influence the length of mediation, focusing on the mediation of Anti-Corruption & Civil Rights Commission(ACRC) of Korea. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that the number of field studies, the number of consultative meetings, and the number of local governments involved significantly influenced the length of mediation by the ACRC. The results provided important implications for public conflict management and public policy.
