기업집단 소속 여부 및 소유집중이 R&D 기술혁신에 미치는 영향

초록

This paper empirically investigates the impact of business group firms on corporate R&D productivity by using patent-based metrics. It finds that business group firms tend to produce a greater number of innovations than single-segment firms. Data was sampled from firms listed either on the Korea Stock Exchange or on the Kosdaq from 1999 to 2007. Another regression results suggest, however, that ownership concentration in business group firms and R&D innovation may have a negative relationship, which is statistically robust.
