스튜디오 지브리 애니메이션의 여성서사 분석

초록

This study was carried out to understand the subject consciousness of Studio Ghibli animation and to analyze how it is shaped in the work. In particular, This studied how to draw female characters and form female narratives through the characteristics of the female protagonist, which is one of Ghibli’s most important values. For the analysis target, four works in which the characteristics of female narratives stand out were selected, and the works were analyzed from the perspective of feminism and ecofeminism by focusing on the female narratives of each work. Through this, it was found that the female characters of the Ghibli animation have something in common in that they are different from the existing stereotypical female characters, and they are projective, and they want the unity of nature and humans. In addition, it was found that the figure of realizing one’s identity while taking the lead in solving problems is similar to the figure of women that feminism aims for. In this way, Ghibli animation awakens the value that we should aim for through the coexistence of humans and nature, the narratives of women and the narratives of women uttered by voices.
