초록

The object of this research is in establishing the basic direction of the development of curriculum for the Graduate School of Sport Convergence under the purpose of training multidisciplinary talented individuals along the environmental change of Sport industry. This research suggests the curriculum of the Graduate School of Sport Convergence as a practically feasible operation model. This research has been proceeded separately by literature analysis and by expert group interview. The literature analysis, to draw a competencies which should be emphasized in development stage of the curriculum of Sport industry convergence, has been performed by collecting policies carried by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism and the Korea Institute of Sport Science, and operation structure materials(educational objectives, subjects, and major fields of convergence) from several graduate schools. The expert group interview has been performed by carrying out surveys targeting 12 professors active in several graduate schools who are under duty of ‘composing curriculum for futural Sport convergence graduate school.’ The conclusions drawn out through this research are as followed. First, in the academic aspect, the existing theory of Sport industry, blending up with other fields, builds up theoretical basis as a new discipline which can suggest new approach and direction, and contributes to the progress of Sport industry through performing researches regarding convergence field. Second, in educational aspect, specialized curriculum and educational system can be established by forming expert pool, development and operation of curriculum for convergence of Sport & health & bio & architecture. Third, in social aspect, the training specialized manpower immediately available in the field of Sport & health & bio & architecture can contribute to securing manpower for enterprises. Fourth, in economical aspect, to develop a new industrial field through a new academic field, and to promote a job creation in convergence field can lead to direct/indirect economic effects.
