Han, J.K. The Impact of Long Team Combined Exercise on Aging Related Hormone in Elderly Women. Exercise Science. 17(1): 23-30, 2008. This research analyzed the impact of long term combined exercise on aging related hormone(growth hormone, testosterone, DHEA, melatonin and estrogen). For this research, medical history taking and tests were used as a method to look into the impact. The test group consisted of 14women aged between 60 and 65. This group was further divided into two groups control(7) and combined exercise group(7). According to the variance analysis through repeated measure of growth hormone, DHEA and estrogen, the correlative effect between the groups and the time they were tested was significant[F(1.12)=6.97, p<.05], [F(1.12)=6.45, p<.05], [F(1.12)=5.25, p<.05]. Melatonin showed a significant difference in main effect analysis based on the test time[F(1.12)=6.52, p<.05], but testosterone did not produce any notable result in terms of correlative effect between the groups and the test time, main effect analysis by group and main effect analysis by time. Therefore for elder women, participation in combined exercise maintains activities of daily living(ADL) abilities, raises physical fitness such as significantly slows functional degeneration and aging related hormone, whereby helping prevent aging related disease risk.
