초록

The purpose of this study isto develop the systematic researching tools in order to measure the effectiveness of the cultural and artistic education conducted in the correctional institution and the juvenile training school. We have constructed preliminary items through analyzing the theoretical overall view and the purposes and goals of the programs with regard to the cultural and artistic education in the correctional institution and the juvenile training school. After verifying by professionalist’s comment on preliminary validity, we have operated questionnaire on 842 users in the correctional institution and the juvenile training school. Eventually, we selected the cases of 691users in the correctional institution and the juvenile training school. And analyzed them in order to descriptive statistics, Item Response Theory, Exploratory Factor Analysis and Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Finally, we completed each scale for effectiveness of the cultural and artistic education : The scale in order to measure the effectiveness of the cultural and artistic education consists of six factors such as 'Stress', 'Preference to Culture and Art', 'Sociality', 'Positivity', 'Self Regulation' and 'Expression' with 63 questions. Developing the scale for the effectiveness of the cultural and artistic education, satisfying the purpose and goal of its program, would provide the program manager or developer in the field with the significant guidelines that should be considered while preparing the programs.
