일제강점기 조선과 대만의 간이실업학교와 실업보습학교에 관한 고찰

초록

In this paper, the "Simple unemployment school" and "Unemployment supplementary school" systems in Joseon and Taiwan have the same name, but there are many differences in the background and purpose of creating the systems. Originally, unemployment supplementary schools were a form of simple vocational education that was an extension of elementary school in Japan, but in Joseon enrollment numbers did not increase at the beginning, until the implementation of various policies such as tuition reduction and exemption and textbook production. While the nature of vocational education centered on agriculture with no strong restrictions on admission qualifications and admission age at the beginning, Taiwan has secondary education in terms of admission qualifications and subjects compared to Japan and Joseon. In addition, in this paper, based on the "Recently Joseon Circumstances Handbook", "Joseon Handbook", "Joseon Circumstances" compiled by the Government-General of Joseon and the "Taiwan Circumstances" compiled by the Taiwan Governor-General, "Simple unemployment school" and "Unemployment supplementary school" I tried to grasp the actual situation of "school". This makes it possible to confirm the existence of a previously unknown "private unemployment supplementary school" and the fact that Japanese, Joseon, and Taiwanese students were also enrolled in the unemployment supplementary school, In Joseon, Japanese students can be confirmed only in commercial and industrial unemployment supplementary schools, whereas in Taiwan, Japanese students can be confirmed in all departments. This seems to be a more thorough educational idea of Japan and Joseon as One Body in Taiwan
